ContactRelief Recommendations for Contact Centers

ContactRelief is making public recommendations first made to subscribers Tuesday, October 10th. Hurricane Michael will make landfall today and move quickly over the southeastern U.S. and back into the Atlantic ocean. After landfall on the Florida panhandle, Michael will weaken to a Tropical Storm and then impact areas in South and North Carolina already heavily damaged from Hurricane Florence.

ContactRelief recommends that contact should be suspended in areas under Hurricane Warning, Hurricane Watch, Tropical Storm Warning, and Storm Surge Watch and Warning alerts. We expect to maintain this recommendation for 48 hours and to issue additional Hurricane Damage alerts and suspension recommendations for longer periods as the extent of the damage from Hurricane Michael is revealed.
